Flexures, or rather compliant mechanisms, have become commonplace in precision mechatronics but new developments have popped up, concerning design principles, modelling theory and (additive) manufacturing. Also included are an account of the placement accuracy improvement approach at Kulicke & Soffa and a report of euspen’s 17th International Conference & Exhibition.
