The March issue of Mikroniek, click here for a first impression, is dedicated in part to the theme of High-tech systems. It features articles on the design of a high-throughput wafer inspection stage, the metrology aspects of ultraprecise interferometry, and a profile of the 2019 Rien Koster Award winner; Hans van de Rijdt.

Another article covers the free-jet electrochemical machining of ultrahard metals. The editorial and a news item are devoted to Eindhoven Engine, which was established to accelerate innovation in the Brainport Region through challenge-based research; NatLab+ in the making?
