De warmtepijp

Warmetepijpen hebben enkele grote voordelen ten opzichte van methoden voor warmte-afvoer. Hoewel ze in de ruimtevaart veel worden toegepast, hebben ze wat dichter bij de grond, voornamelijk vanwege de prijs, nog niet veel ingang gevonden. De laatste jaren echter worden warmtepijpen door toenemende produktie-automatisering ook economisch rendabel voor aardse toepassingen. In dit artikel wordt ingegaan op de werking van warmtepijpen en enkele varianten voor verschillende toepassingen.
