Reproduceerbare precisie in kunststof

Twintig miljoen loopwerken voor CD-spelers per jaar! Daarvoor maakt Philips Plastics in Lommel – onderdeel van Philips PMF – de kunststofonderdelen met een miljoenvoudig herhaalde precisie. Nog niet zo lang geleden was Philips PMF bijna uitsluitend intern toeleverancier met een grote diversiteit aan producten. Vandaag de dag haalt Philips PMF bijna 40% van zijn omzet aan hoogwaardige componenten van metaal en kunststof van buiten Philips. Dat percentage moet omhoog, want Philips PMF wil onafhankelijk van het moederbedrijf van het moederbedrijf kunnen opereren.
