Resultaten Snelle assemblage

Robots die elektronische componenten op PCB’s plaatsen, halen een output van 3.000 tot 6.000 componenten per uur. Onderzoekers van Fontys Hogescholen en Hogeschool Utrecht ontwikkelden een geheel nieuw concept, dat de output met een factor drie verbetert. Een klein bakje gevuld met componenten, de shuttle, volgt daarbij de plaatsingskop zodat deze over relatief veel kleinere afstanden beweegt. Een recordaantal bedrijven was bij dit IOP-project betrokken en tientallen hbo-studenten werkten eraan mee.
