Sub-nanometer interferometrie

Laserinterferometers en lineaire meetsystemen hebben een resolutie op nanometer- of zelfs subnanometer niveau. Waarschijnlijk is hun werkelijke nauwkeurigheid zelfs een factor tien hoger, maar dat kon tot nu toe niet worden bepaald. Het IOP-project Sub-nanometer interferometrie heeft dat probleem opgelost. Met de resultaten zijn zowel bedrijven als onderzoekers zeer tevreden.
